First mares in foal for Attendu
Attendu (Acclamation) has had his first mares scanned in foal this week. The first is named Modestie (Nayef). She is owned by the Wertheimer & Frère who are used to supporting their stallions by sending mares and buying yearlings at the sales. Modestie is a sister to the black-type winners Golden Valentine (Dalakhani), Goldwaki (Dalakhani) and Spectaculaire (Spectrum). Her dam Gold Round (Caerleon) won the Prix Cléopâtre (Gr.3) and is a sister to the Gr.1 winners Goldikova (Anabaa), Galikova (Galileo) and Anodin (Anodin) who also stands at Haras du Quesnay.
Attendu is taking up his stallion duties at a fee of €5,000 live foal. Group winner at 2, 3 and 4 years with a nice conformation, he has an attractive pedigree. He is a son of Acclamation out of a Group winner at 2 years who produced four black-type winners. He should pass precocity and speed on to his progeny.
